I was recently made privy to a handy little secret. Did you know that the gas tank icon on your dashboard harbors a little secret? Well (on newer car models) there is a little arrow on either side of the gas pump icon indicating which side of the car the gas tank is on. Brilliant! Very handy when you are driving unfamiliar cars. Just couldn't resist passing on this little bit of handy knowledge. Happy gas guzzling.

this knowledge will change your life, i learned this a while ago and it has saved me difficult turn arounds in tight spaces many a time!
